02: good movies

Let's talk about movies. Honestly, for most of my life, I've never really "enjoyed" watching movies. Sure, going to the cinema to watch a movie is a nice experience and everything, but for the longest time i always just kinda felt like i could've done something better with my time after i got done watching one. Like, they weren't *awful*, but i just kinda felt like it'd have been more fun to just stay home and play video games or something. For a while i thought i just didn't really like movies. Welll, turns out that i just hadn't actually been watching good movies lol. Like, im not kidding here, i went like, most of my life somehow managing to almost exclusively watch bad movies lol. There were some in there that most people think are "good" like the harry potter movies for example, but honestly, i kinda thought those were prettyyy boring lol. Anyways, i end up basically exclusively watching movies i don't care about for a while, until, one day at like 1am on a saturday, i decide: "yknow what, im gonna go watch your name cuz i played the theme song on osu a while back". That was... Probably one of the better decisions ive made. That was the first movie to actually make me cry. It also made me realize "hey, maybe i actually like romance" ...fast forward like a year and like half my bookmarks are romance manga lol. (Just... Dont ask about the other half). It probably also helped that the german dub was like... Suprisingly good for some reason? (I know, i watched the dub, go cruficy me or smth) Honestly, your name is an awesome movie, go watch it like, right now lol.
