16: Survival as a political Statement
To be honest, it's kind of insane how bad the "anti woke" discourse has gotten. Even discounting the fact that anyone who still unironically uses that term should reconsider their life choices, i find it genuinely absurd how, at this point, trans people just... Existing in any form of media is considered virtue signaling or "shoving politics into <insert medium here>". Has anyone considered the fact that we're, yknow, real? Being trans isn't some completely fictional concept that "the left" has come up with in a targeted attempt to make your movie watching experience slightly worse. We exist. Media that acknowledges that isn't "shoving politics into everything", it's realistic. It's honestly fucking embarrassing that simply being alive as a trans person has become "political". If you want to yell at me for being piece of shit commie or whatever, then please at least do that because of my actual political opinions, not because of the fact I'm simply alive. That's not political, that's just reality. Even if you ban gender affirming surgery and boycott bud light or whatever, they will continue to be around. Being a transphobic asshole isn't going to change reality.
Trans women are women. Get over it. We're not just "feminine guys", or "traps", and we certainly don't run an elite shadow cabal of secret government agents trying to take over the world by turning everyone into femboys. (Though admittedly that would be pretty awesome)
Anyways, that's it from me today. I'm gonna go and convince Yuu to start that secret society with me. World domination might be a bit though, but i feel like the femboy part is gonna be pretty easy. Who wouldn't want an excuse to wear skirts and look pretty? Alright, maybe I'm projecting slightly.
This has been Kami "somehow making a political statement by being alive" Voidsun.
Cyaaa!
